Are you interested in becoming a Trustee for this village charity that has been supporting the communities of Twyford, Ruscombe and Charvil for over 300 years?
Becoming a Trustee is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the community. You'll be collaborating with like-minded individuals to meet the needs of local disadvantaged people, and boost and enhance local life.
What does being a Trustee involve?

Act as an ambassador for The Polehampton Charity and the support it can provide in Twyford, Ruscombe, Charvil and the wider community.

Promote the development of the Charity’s strategy and long-term goals while considering the needs of any and all beneficiaries.

Attend and actively participate in the quarterly trustee meetings.

Contribute to decision-making and policy setting.

Represent the Charity at selected local events.
What skills should a Trustee have?

Good contacts within the local area to help identify areas of need.

Involvement in the local community support structure.

Keen interest in supporting the local community and a commitment to the Charity’s aims.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

No specific fundraising or financial contribution is required.

Sense of responsibility for the Charity’s future and its standing in the local community is essential.
