Community Group Grants

Only local community groups based in Twyford, Ruscombe or Charvil in Berkshire are eligible to apply.

Community group applications should be made at least two weeks before a Trustee Board meeting. These are held on the second Tuesday in March, June, September and December.

All applications are completely confidential.

A condition of accepting any grant from The Polehampton Charity is that your community group must provide feedback to the trustees and acknowledge the grant publicly once the funds have been received.

Check the Grant Giving Policy on how The Polehampton Charity awards grants including details on criteria and exclusions.

What can you apply for?

Community groups can apply for grants for items that will benefit members of the local community. Examples for projects and items that the trustees will consider, and have awarded grants for in the past, are:

  • First-aid training for Twyford Skatepark users

  • Extra activities for Brownie groups

  • Laptop for Twyford Volunteer Drivers

  • Lighting for a local theatre group
