How to apply for a grant

To apply for financial support from The Polehampton Charity, simply complete an online application form. After clicking Submit at the end of the form, you will receive an automated acknowledgement. 

All applications are completely confidential.

If you are unable to complete an application form yourself, call Wokingham United Charities on 0118 403 2980.

What happens next?

After your grant application form is received, the Applications Coordinator might ask for more information from you to help the trustees to make a decision.​

All school, PTA and community groups need to submit applications at least two weeks before Trustee Board meeting to be considered. These meetings take place on the second Tuesday in March, June, September and December.

 

Replies to applications will always be sent from applications@thepolehamptoncharity.co.uk. You should add this email address to your safe senders' list and remember to check the Spam and Junk folders of your email account.​

Once an application is approved, the Applications Coordinator will be in touch to ask for your bank details. If the payment information is not received within 21 days of the email, the trustees may decide not to award the grant and allocate the funds elsewhere.​

Grants will be paid as soon as possible.​

After a grant has been received

School/PTA and community group applicants are required to give feedback about the benefits of the grant to them and the wider community.
